La Page bookshop is the ideal place to develop childrens' love for books and their interest for the French language!
Animated by professionnal and dynamic teachers from the Club Petit Pierrot, the "Petit Pierrot Workshop" (Atelier Petit Pierrot) is the opportunity for children to get together around a topic and play, sing, dance, listen to stories and develop their language skills in French as well as their imagination and creativity!
Children love listening to stories and love telling them! Without realising it, they not only learn new words but also manage to re-use them appropriately. As their imagination is stimulated, they are encouraged to speak French to improve their syntax, and further games and songs help them strenghten their skills and knowledge. These workshops not only give children a lot of fun but they also provide them with more confidence to express themselves in front of their peers.
Groups are limited to 10 children
If the club is full, you can add your name to our waiting list.
More about Club Petit Pierrot's team :
At Club Petit Pierrot we passionately believe that children learn French best while having fun, and by being fully immersed in the language.
To successfully teach with the immersion method, teachers need to provide children with an appropriate learning environment full of opportunities for communication!
All the teachers at Club Petit Pierrot are experienced, qualified to work with children, and trained to teach French. They are all native French teachers, dynamic, fun, dedicated and passionate about teaching French to young children. At Club Petit Pierrot, teachers have an initial training period and are handed down an educational guide with plans of all the lessons. During weekly meetings the team discuss the programme and are coached by Stella Bataille, Founder/Director, in order to use the best approach for each group, according to the language level and general abilities of the children.
